Denver, CO — Go GREENE, a cannabis advocacy organization aimed at cultivating diversity in cannabis, is hosting the Cannabis Diversity Summit, the first cannabis conference focused on educating and engaging communities of color. The Cannabis Diversity Summit is taking place on May 15 from 5pm-8pm at Nativ Hotel, 1612 Wazee Street, Denver, CO 80202.

This event was inspired by and for members of both the cannabis community and communities of color eager to address the glaring lack of diversity in cannabis industry leadership.

“We’re holding the Cannabis Diversity Summit to educate members of the cannabis community, the general public and the press about legislation, regulation, law enforcement, industry opportunities, advocacy and more using the experiences and perspectives of cannabis industry leaders from communities of color,” Go GREENE founder and executive director Charlo Greene said.

Charlo Greene is serving as host of the Cannabis Diversity Summit. The exclusively diverse panel includes Minority Cannabis Business Association Chairman Jesce Horton, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition Executive Director Neill Franklin, former Oregon NORML executive director and owner of the World Famous Cannabis Café Madeline Martinez, Judge Shelli Hayes, Dr. Lakisha Jenkins, Dr. Rachel Knox, attorney Brandon Wyatt and more.

Registration for the Cannabis Diversity Summit is currently ongoing and can be completed by purchasing or requesting free tickets at gogreene.org and cannabisdiversitysummit.com
