Sarah Sanger graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a Bachelors in Economics. After graduating, Sarah worked in Qualcomm’s Corporate Finance organization. After 5 years at Qualcomm, she received her MBA from UCLA Anderson with a focus on strategy and operations. After business school, Sarah pursued a variety of management positions in operations, analytics, and finance. In 2016, Sarah noted that the legal cannabis industry was dramatically under-served from by the financial services industry. She decided to pursue this industry and use her formal training in finance and business management to benefit the rapidly evolving cannabis market. In 2017, she worked with a licensed cultivator to close a multi-million dollar financing round. She currently has several clients across the legal cannabis supply chain that leverage her finance and business expertise to navigate the complex and rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
Sarah has spent the past 15 years focused on analytics and operations. She has extensive experience with third party tools and data sources as well as hands-on analysis to support financial and regulatory risk management objectives. She is an investor-member in Arcview, active in many cannabis trade organizations and is a CA licensed real estate salesperson, alongside running an outsourced CFO service called Green Light CFO.
